Stacking Blocks

Months - and we mean months, right, Liam? - of effort attempting to stack blocks paid off yesterday right in the middle of the kitchen. Justin has homework Monday-Thursday. It has become the ritual that he sits at the table to do his homework and Liam sits in his high chair and works on his "homework". Liam does a variety of activities, but his homework time has been dominated by attempting to stack blocks. Much to my absolute, sheer, incredulous, jump-up-and-down, delight, yesterday I showed him what to do and he actually did it - three times in a row! Once the roaring crowd (me and Justin) died down, I stacked the blocks and handed him an o-ball. Yup, he stacked that too! It went something like this -

and it was AWESOME! Absolutely AWESOME!
