After much deliberation, we decided to talk to Liam’s
Physical Therapist about getting him a walker.
He “walks” around the living room as long as he’s got
something to hold on to, but nowhere else. She brought
him a walker, on loan from his school, and this last
Friday Liam waddle-walked down the sidewalk and
across the driveway with his walker for the first time;
for an AS child that's remarkable, especially at his age.
It's not surprising, however, as Justin prays every night,
"...please let Liam walk and talk." Faith is an amazing
thing and his brother has enough to ask. Miracles do
happen and through Liam we have been granted an
opportunity to see them not quite, but almost, daily!
I got pictures of him yesterday.
