Using his pointer finger has been one of Liam's, and our, biggest challenges this last year. For over a year now we've been trying, with no success, to get him to point, pick things up, push buttons, etc.; until Christmas. He loves these vibrating, light-up toys and one day just started pushing the buttons on his own. Of course, it helps that Justin got light sabers from Santa that have an extra-large button that's easy to push. Liam LOVES them when they are all lit up and Justin "fights" with him so they give him great incentive to master the art of button pushing! Who knew that I'd absolutely rejoice when one of my children started pushing my buttons! But I do! We all do!
